Hello happy to see some familiar names, here. Lately I've been having more lucid dreams and APs and therefore- more questions I don't know how common it is- but I can't seem to be able to visualize in LDs. I even tried putting my hands in front of my "eyes" to make it darker, but the result was just seeing my astral hands in front of my eyes. I thought about closing my astral "eyes" (even though we don't actually have astral "eyes") in order to see darkness, but I'm afraid I'll close my physical eyes by mistake. Any tips? honestly, I mostly want to visualize in order to teleport. Affirmations seemed to work a couple of times, but sometimes they don't for some reason. I'm feeling kind of stuck, so your help is much appreciated. Thank you! dontco.

Hello Dontco, congratulations on your LD and APs! It's great I don't quite understand what you mean by not being able to visualize. You mean, you can't see the objects of your dreams clearly enough, blurry? (If so, grab and concentrate on a specific object in detail) Why do you want to make things look darker, do you want to enter the Void and from there visualize a specific place to go? Or with what you have difficulty with, is it in the same lucid dream, trying to think of a place and finding yourself in it? Sorry! If you want to enter the Void through a LD, there are many ways that I find effective... one of them is to run and run at full speed, the holographic dream scene ends at some point and begins to fade away until it becomes increasingly darker and darker, and you enter the Void. Somehow, I feel that in reality all dreams are three-dimensional holographic projections ON the Void itself, as if it were a huge 3D screen where a movie is projected... you just have to remove the images! Another thing that worked for me and you will find funny, is to create a switch and “turn off the light” (eliminate the holograms) and vice versa, to recover them again (at least that's my perception). Many times, because of our human conditioning, we cannot do certain things that our mind believes are not possible. It is very difficult for me, for example, to create things from nothing, as if by magic. Say for example... let an apple appear! It does not happen, since I know that on the physical plane this is impossible and, in that state, I continue with the same conditioning. So, the best thing is to look for the apple in a more “normal” way, for example, look for it in the room where I am, maybe it will appear hidden in a drawer. Or go to the garden to look for it in a tree. I only tell this to illustrate how the mind can operate in these states, and if you are trying to think of a specific place you want to go, for example, outer space, and you can't because nothing happens... you have to go and board a rocket! Doing it the conventional way... I guess this is at first, but then with more practice it will no longer be necessary and just by thinking about it, it will happen. Try to transport yourself to the desired place in the most ingenious and creative way for now, that's my advice! Something fun that I sometimes do is turn on a TV screen, tune to a channel with the desired location and get on the screen, see what happens! In my case, I entered a surreal world or the Void, but it should work with proper concentration. I hope this helps a bit. Greetings!

Hey, Tak ! first of all, thank you for taking the time to answer, I truly appreciate it that's really nice of you. Nice to meet you. And sorry for not being clear enough, I can see now that what I wrote can be a bit of confusing. You really don't have to be sorry What I meant was- when I try to create something or visualize a different environment in order to teleport while in a LD, I can't seem to be able to imagine it in my mind's eye (like I do when awake). Like if for example if I tell you to not think about a pink elephant- you'll probably think about a pink elephant and imagine it in your mind's eye, without meaning to. So yes- like you said- it's trying to think of a place and finding yourself in it. And your suggestions are fantastic, I'm writing them down so I wouldn't forget I think entering the void should be an easier way to get to the places where I intent to go. And I agree with you about dreams being projections ON the Void itself! Just my thoughts I also think that for some reason- at least for me the void seems to be more thought responsive in comparison to LDs, maybe because I concentrate on my visual surroundings too much while in a dream. And what you say about out human conditioning is also interesting. It's something I will have to practice- to create things in a more logical or humanly possible way. I also love the tv idea! I will try it for sure, really. It also reminds me to try and go through "portals" as they might lead me to the void. Thank you again, so nice to hear from like minded people have the greatest day, dontco.

Hey Dontco, nice to meet you too, it's always a pleasure to meet other like minded people 😊 and share.
Oooh! I 've got it! Now I understand. You know? I don't know if this is the case, but maybe you need to increase your awareness a little, something that helped me a lot is counting... yes, counting! It can be from 1 to 10... to 20. Or if you dare, recite the multiplication tables (you will see that at first you don't even know how much 2x2 is lol) doing calculations for some reason increases awareness, in my case everything becomes more stable and the mind more similar to the awake state.
All the things you want to do in your lucid dream, repeat them internally during the day, several times and this way you will be able to remember better. Sometimes this takes several days or several lucid dreams until you remember to do it. Everything is a process and remember to be very patient! All this will soon be very natural and even spontaneous 😉
Oh yeah! The TV screen is a “very human” way of creating portals... sometimes all this can seem so strange to the mind, that the best thing at first is to help it a little by doing everyday things so that it is not a shock, at least for me. I recommend let yourself flow by the experience as well and don't try to control it so much... I am sure that each one of them will bring you fascinating and unexpected adventures and learnings. On one occasion my TV screen was "broken" because I only saw static... (an aspect of the Void?) I decided to cross it anyway and I found a world of three-dimensional octagons that multiplied to infinity... in beautiful warm colors. This surprised me so much that I woke up a minute later, I think even my physical body opened its mouth, it gave me that impression LOL.
Let yourself be surprised and have a lot of fun!
Hugs, Tak.
