Well, I did my meditation on wave 5 - advanced focus 12. I didn't obe. But I felt like I was floating inside my body. That was nice. Had one weird thing occur -- on the second go-round of listening, I was laying there and I felt (maybe I heard it?) a loud pop inside my left nostril, way up inside. A stream of fresh air ran through my nose on that side at the same time. It was only on one side and it was quite refreshing. I tried looking around the internet to see if anyone else had this type of occurrence doing Monroe and I couldn't find anything. I'm not sure if it had something to do with the meditation or my sinuses...  Either way, I'm glad!! Jenn p.s. Monroe's voice changed on this one... It's someone else. |

Last night I listened to Intuition 1 while I slept. That is the second recording of Wave 5. I remember very little. It knocked me out. Fixing to do a repeat on that one right now. I should not have been bragging about not falling asleep way longer (end of wave 4) because that's exactly what happened.
I'm also going to try and go to bed earlier. My usual time is 2:30 am. That might help. That will be very hard. I'm a nighttime person.
This morning I have this nagging feeling I have missed something.
I've also read so many conflicting stories on "when to meditate". Some people say it is better to be drowsy and others say it is better to be wide awake. I am still trying to find my personal "niche time spot".

What I am discovering is that I am having very very vivid dreams. They are not lucid dreams, meaning I am not aware while I am dreaming, however, this morning around 9ish, I was dreaming about a niece of mine (my sister's daughter). She is a stroke victim and maybe 40 or so. I don't remember the exact dream but I just remember dreaming about her. But what woke me up was me physically yelling her name out loud in the house. They live quite a distance from me. Maybe 6-7 hrs. I sat straight up in bed a little confused because I had yelled her name. I haven't called them yet to see what's up. It was very unsettling.

Hi Blossom, it's great that you're experimenting with Gateway, for me its amazing! I tried it many years ago and while I never got an Obe with them, I could phase twice. I really don't know how to explain it, simply at one point I was no longer there listening to the audio, but I became aware and was in "a lucid dream" although for me it was more than that, it was very strange but also incredible... It was beginner's luck!. I use them daily now and just like you, I have very vivid dreams. I have lucid dreams when I induce them, but I complement them with the audio. They have also taken me twice to phase a few weeks ago, it was beautiful. On one occasion I became the wind in a garden and played with the autumn leaves, I was having a lot of fun! and on another occasion I was in a room with many people and behind was a glass door, where the F27 is supposed to be and there was a beautiful park behind the glass, but when I opened the door everything vanished. I take them only as lucid dreams entering from the hypnagogic state... But that's already something! Later with Wave 5 something similar to you happened to me, without feeling out of my body I began to feel that I was rising very very high through the white clouds and floating with my mind, and then I became a whirlpool, how sad when suddenly I come back, I was so happy...! Now I only use Wave 2 which takes you to focus 10, but I edited this audio to take out the part of the end and not have a return. I cut that part and extended the binaural waves that remain playing in focus 10 for about 40 more minutes, it seems more effective to me. The strange thing about all this is that it doesn't always happen, it's spontaneous and I don't know what it depends on, the result is not voluntary at the moment. For me the key is not to be too sleepy or too awake, in my case if I do it before going to sleep it knocks me out as you say. If I'm too awake nothing happens. The ideal for me is to sleep for a while at night, for example if you sleep at 2:30 am you could set the alarm clock to wake up at 4 hours, that is at 6:30. So you are rested but still a little sleepy and there you practice. Thanks Blossom for sharing! Just relax and enjoy the experience! Have no expectations, just flow... And I'm sure that very soon something extraordinary will happen... Greetings! |

And that is a great idea about taking the end out and doubling the middle part. Several times, I have been "nearly there" and then Monroe brings you back. I have also wished they were longer. I'm not really certain how to do that so I guess I'll be using YouTube to figure out Audacity, as it's free.. Thank you so much for posting. You have given me hope for my OBE future. Take out the end and double the middle! Yes, I agree that Monroe tapes are definitely too short. I had one weird experience during wave 2. Not sure which recording at the moment but I was suddenly floating in a corridor, which when it occurred did not even seem odd to me. I fell asleep during the experience. I remember the experience vividly but I don't remember exactly when I drifted off to sleep.. I have had 4-5 obes in the past -- way in the past -- so I'm trying to get there. I want to fly. I want to explore. You know? I sleep every night with Monroe on repeat in my ears. Last night was intuition on wave 5. I was really tired so I slept. I'm also on low-dose steroids right now so hopefully tonight I will stay awake. I like what you said. "Just flow".. I'll remember that!! I'm fixing to download Audacity right now and figure this out. I'm excited. I tried taking his voice out at the end a few weeks ago and it was very unsuccessful. Doubling and cutting the end will be better because it won't alter the actual recording. Thank you so much Tak!

Someone might wonder, "why is she ordering these if she is doing Monroe?".. Well, I want to be able to phase AND do what is considered a regular old OBE..
------------------------------------------------------------------------ Explorations Beyond the Body is out for delivery TODAY!! Usually, my mail is delivered around 1:30 CST. So excited!!  Advanced Journeys is somewhere between Missouri and California.  I haven't ordered Intensive yet. It's still in my eBay cart. I want to get Advanced Journeys first and see what it contains. I can't find out exactly what is in the box Advanced Journeys (except for 8 CDs), but "Intensive" might be a part of it. Just not sure. I've searched all over the internet and can't find anything. In fact advanced Journey's might contain BOTH of the other two. I've seen conflicting things about it. Pictures with Advanced Journeys box in the background advertising the two boxed sets, Intensive and Explorations Beyond the Body. So I'm just not sure.  Jenn p.s. I'm glad Blossom that you liked my Wind experience actually it was spontaneous. I had no body at the time and just flowed with the leaves and manipulated them at will, it was like being five years old again and lot of fun! The good thing about these experiences is that they are never repeated, we always have new surprises. I like to do the exercise of taking the imagination beyond the limits of human experience, with the possibility of experiencing other things, especially aspects of nature, in this case it was the wind. And about turning into a whirlpool, I think it has to do with the activation of some chakra, it's not the first time it happens to me in a meditation. Blossom, if you find any complications with the audio editing, I have no problem doing it for you, I also have Audacity, if you need just send me a PM and we'll fix it. My edition of the audio is in Spanish, otherwise I would send you the one I use. The new material is very interesting, I had never heard of that, there is so much to discover! As long as we are open to the experience, I know that everything will be very productive. Successes! |

Last night I sat up late and made a copy of my flac file of FF12 (so I wouldn't mess the original up) and piddled with Audacity. It took me hours. I carefully cut out little tiny sections of Monroe's voice. I didn't separate the voice and delete it, because I didn't want to change the background tones. Then I saved it as an MP3 and uploaded it so I could use it on my phone. It works perfectly. I'm listening to it now on Bluetooth while I'm typing. I listened to it last night too. It is SO much better without the voice and the ending part where he brings you back. I plan on doing FF10 as well. As I move to the other levels (15 and up), I'll probably do them as well. Not the instructive ones but the specific recordings based on levels. It is MUCH MUCH easier to just get into it without a voice jarring you back. Or at least for me. Thank you for offering to help me but, I think I got it. So far, so good... I like how you got into the aspects of nature. I just never considered "being nature", other than a tree. It just blew me away. It puts things in a whole new perspective. I'm starting to see possibilities are endless. I mean, I always felt that but being the wind is a whole new level to think about. It really was a wow moment for me. I'm ready for something extraordinary. Jenn p.s. I bought the new CDs because of a post I read by lumaza on AP. He said they were some of the best he had ever used. They are not for phasing. Just plain old out of body.  But they have a lot of recordings for chakra cleansing, breathing, intuition etc. as well. This is also some of the same things Monroe teaches and could potentially be beneficial to me in learning to phase as well. |

Advanced Journeys should be here tomorrow. I have been looking at Explorations Beyond the Body. I listened to tape one. It had two tracks. The first was informational about Dr Jones. The second was a Delta wave recording meant to induce relaxation. It was a beautiful recording. I'm impressed.

This is not about Monroe. It's about me. This new series I bought is pretty enlightening. It makes you think. DISK ONEThe first one was about "his credentials and why he was qualified to make these tapes. Kind of a getting-to-know-you tape. The second track on disk 1 was a Delta recording which was excellent. At the end of the first track, he talked about relaxation techniques and wanted them applied in track 2. It was unlike any I have heard. Great quality. I have no regrets buying this. DISK TWOThe second disk was all about breathing. Ways to breathe to bring energy to you; to feel more energetic. And another way to calm down; to slow down. And a third way to calm the mind prior to meditation and to cleanse, relax, and protect yourself with white light. DISK THREEI'm listening to this now. It is about ridding yourself of negativity, energy and cleansing your charkas using positive affirmations. I wrote down a sentence he said - "The process of the symbolism of this process ( ridding yourself of negativity) will help rid you of that same negativity". And he explained the process. I guess affirmations are a symbol as well and the process of saying them OR writing them down stays with both our subconscious and our conscious mind in the same manner. He suggested or stated pretty blatantly actually, that people who bring negativity into your life when they don't agree with what you are doing (like trying to learn to spontaneously OBE) to cut them out of your life or quit telling them what you are doing. He said to write an affirmation that "Negative words are not acceptable". He said people influence our subconscious with the words they speak. As stupid as it sounds, this is really profound to me. I have lived with negativity for decades, an outcast from my family. I mean that in a literal sense. I've come to terms with it. Not a big deal anymore so no ah ah's. BUT the negativity has stayed with me. I know that. It has affected everything in my life. I'm good at blanketing it. My point is not to elicit sympathy. My point is in listening to this guy, it makes sense and I realize I actually feel great right now. All this meditation over the past few weeks, hours and hours a day, has affected me in a positive way. I feel calm, centered, grounded and just great in general. And that is very surprising to me. I'm tingling half the time from Monroe tapes. Everything about Monroe is surprising. I sometimes feel I'm not getting a lot out of it, but when you vibrate for hours afterward, I think it's worth it. And this new guy from this Beyond the Body set is filling all the gaps that Monroe doesn't cover. It was a real good buy... Well back to cleaning out this negativity. Cheers, Jenn p.s. I feel like I am exactly where I am supposed to be and doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm growing again at 65. |

OMG... I'm on steroids and antibiotics for a week. I can't meditate. My mind is racing. Crapola. (My Spanish word for crap. ) I've been saying that since I was around 10. My mother would not let me say "gosh" or "golly" (She considered them cuss words), so I came up with crapola and told her it was Spanish for "shoot"... She had her moments. I am up and moving fast. My house is getting a thorough cleaning WHILE I listen to a tape on chakra cleansing via Bluetooth. Killing two birds with one stone. I'll probably have to listen to it a second time but that's ok. |

Either way, I'm glad!!
